John & Felicia Anna, Owners

Felicia started Adirondack Tree Experts in June 1996 with one old truck and 2 old chain saws. Today, “Adirondack” is one of the largest tree care and removal companies in the Washington Metropolitan Area. In addition to it’s size, “Adirondack” is also one of the top rated/ranked companies in the Metro Area and is also one of only seven companies in the State to be accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Accreditation is the Industry’s highest credential. John and Felicia are both Maryland licensed tree experts and John is also an ISA certified arborist, one of a select few who holds both credentials. Also, John serves as the current President of the Maryland Society of Licensed Tree Experts and served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Bill is Executive Vice President and corporate Counsel for Adirondack Tree Experts. In addition to his legal responsibilities, he provides oversight, guidance, and direction to Adirondack’s management. Bill has more than fifteen years of legal and managerial experience. He is admitted to practice before The United States Supreme Court, The United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, The United States District Court for the District of Maryland and all State of Maryland Courts. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Review for the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and he is legal counsel to the Maryland Society of Licensed Tree Experts. In previous roles, Bill was a private practice attorney in Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland, where he received his BA with honors and Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he earned his JD.

Vinny has been with us for over 9 years and oversees crew production and all daily production here at Adirondack. Vinny can be found with a hand in all aspects of our business. Whether it be running estimates, scheduling work, handling our quality control, and even handling our customers with the best care possible.

Jamie has been with us for over 10 years and oversees all matters pertaining to the internal operations of the administrative side of Adirondack. Jamie is John & Felicia’s eldest daughter.

Dan Miller

Dan came on board with us in 2003 and has served as our senior estimator since 2005. Having been in the tree care industry all of his adult life, there probably does not exist a tree related scenario that Dan has not seen. As a younger man, Dan spent most of his career as a climber and foreman.

Brian Lister
Vice President/DC Operations & Contracts

Brian has been with us for over 12 years and oversees our District of Columbia operations, as well as all contractual and municipal obligations here at Adirondack. Along with maintaining these responsibilities, Brian will find time to assist anywhere he is needed, whether it is out in the field or inside the office. Brian spent six years in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the 1983 bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut. Brian is preparing to sit for the MD Licensed Tree Experts Exam in May of 2011.

	Virginia “Ginny” Keller Accounting/Bookkeeping Ginny has been with us for nearly 6 years now and serves as our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerk. In addition to these duties, Ginny serves full time as Felicia’s Mom, John’s Mother In-Law and Shawn, Jamie, and Cory’s Grandmother.

	Nathaniel Pollack Director of Support Services MD Licensed Tree Expert #1209 Nate has been with us for over 10 years and he spends his days supporting the crews in the field with whatever they need. From log and wood removal to equipment transfers, Nate is there for the guys! Nate never shy’s away from a challenge and is always there to lend a helping hand wherever he can. His unique personality and intense work ethic are key factors that cause him to be so well respected by his coworkers. Nate is a United States Army Veteran.

	Frank B. Carter, Jr. Facilities & Yards Manager MD Licensed Tree Expert #1229 “Franky” has been with us for over 14 years and is the guy who keeps everything in order at our three different facilities. “Franky” is also a former United States Marine who served his country during the Vietnam era.

	In Memory John “Roy” Lee Beloved friend and co-worker, Roy, passed away on November 17, 2008. Roy came to work with us as an estimator in 2003 after our acquisition of Bob White’s Tree Service and remained until the Summer of 2008. Roy will be sadly missed but long remembered for his kind and pleasant nature.


	FOREMEN




	Shawn Harris Foreman MD Licensed Tree Expert #1204 I.S.A. Certified Arborist #MA-5051 Shawn has been with us since he was Ten years old. As a “little guy”, he often accompanied his father, John, in the field to learn the family trade. Now, as a young man, he oversees the crane crew in their hefty removals. In the past, Shawn has been a bucket operator, ran a ground crew and the log loader, and has even climbed to help reduce the labor on his crew. Shawn’s skillset is very detailed and diverse thus making him extremely valuable. Also, from time to time Shawn can be found running estimates. Shawn is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable foremen in the industry.




	Vincent Chillemi Vice President/Production MD Licensed Tree Expert #1210 ISA Certified Arborist #MA-4983 As well as our VP of Production, Vinny is a wonderfully demeanored and extremely capable hard working foreman. When a unique tree situation presents itself, look for Vinny to be your foreman. His thorough grasp of his craft is unparalleled.




	Vinicio Morales Foreman MD Licensed Tree Expert #1360 Vinicio has been with us for over nine years and has worked his way up through the ranks, starting out as a junior groundsman. Today, Vinicio is considered one of the elite foreman in the business, he poses unsurpassed knowledge and exclusive abilities that cause him to receive countless accolades from all who witness his endeavors.




	Luvin Martinez Foreman Luvin has been with our company for over 6 years and has been a foreman since 2009. As a foreman, Luvin has shown an uncanny ability to remain serene on the most challenging of removals. This poised nature and acute eye for detail makes him one of the best in the business.


	Barry Davison Foreman/Bucket Crew Barry has been with us for nearly 5 years after relocating from Florida. Barry was hired to specifically run our Bucket Truck operations. Barry has shown in numerous situations to be a true master in all aspects of his craft. Barry is preparing to sit for the MD Licensed Tree Experts Exam in May of 2011.

Cory Anna

Cory has been with us full-time for over a year now and began his term here at Adirondack as a junior groundsman. Being John’s youngest son, Cory has been around the business all of his life. He has worked directly under our head foreman and received the best training possible. Since being appointed a Foreman, Cory has proved in numerous situations that he is the right man for the job. His skillset, work ethic, and desire to be one of the best, speak for themselves. Cory comes to work every day with an extremely positive attitude, hard hat, and lunch pail in hand. This attitude causes Cory to receive the very best effort from his crew day in and day out. Cory is preparing to sit for the MD Licensed Tree Experts Exam in May of 2011.

Bob White
Crane Operator

Bob has been in the tree care and removal business for over 35 years and has been with us since 2003 when we purchased “Bob Whites Tree Service”. Bob is a Master Climber and was a Forman prior to becoming our Crane Operator. On the crane, Bob is a master who boasts a perfect safety record and is one of only a handfull of Certified Crane Operators on the East Coast for Tree Care Operations. In addition to crane operations, Bob operates most of the heavy equipment we use in the recycling process. Bob also holds one of the oldest tree expert license numbers in the State of Maryland. In his free time Bob enjoys the beautiful outdoors on his farm in West Virginia.
